Denzel Dumfries has emerged as one of the latest names linked with Real Madrid as the club continues its search for reinforcements at right-back.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Dutch international is among the options being considered alongside Pedro Porro and Iván Fresneda. Romano also reported that Real Madrid have already contacted Inter Milan to explore the conditions of a potential transfer.
The club was reportedly informed that Dumfries has a €25 million release clause, a figure that has attracted attention given his status as one of Europe's most productive attacking full-backs.
The 30-year-old has been a key player for Inter Milan and remains an important figure for the Netherlands national team. His combination of physical strength, attacking presence and experience at the highest level makes him an attractive option for clubs looking to strengthen the right side of defense.
This season, Dumfries has contributed five goals and two assists, while his international record stands at 11 goals in 71 appearances for the Netherlands.
With Real Madrid evaluating several candidates for the position, Dumfries is reportedly among the players under consideration as the club plans for the future.
