At the end of the match between Real Madrid and Celta Vigo at the Santiago Bernabéu, the Galician coach Carlos Carvalhal approached Eder Militao to ask for his shirt.
Because it occurred on the field rather than in the locker room or tunnel, the scene attracted attention.
The coach excused himself at the post-match press conference, explaining that it was a request from his son.
"I know that it doesn't look very good for a coach to pick up a player's shirt on the field, but I don't care," he said. "I have asked for two shirts in life... One from Peter Cech from Arsenal and now from Militao. And I did it because my son asked me to."
