According to Sport, the Brazilian forward is seeking a substantial renewal bonus as part of his new deal, using the financial package Kylian Mbappé received after joining Real Madrid as a free agent as the benchmark. Vinicius' representatives reportedly want his overall contract to reflect his status as one of the club's biggest stars.

The 26-year-old believes his achievements in Madrid, his role in the team's recent successes and his standing among the world's elite players justify terms comparable to those of Mbappé.

Real Madrid, meanwhile, remain committed to extending Vinicius' contract but continue to stand firm on their wage policy. Club officials are reluctant to alter their salary structure, and the reported request for a signing bonus has added another significant hurdle to negotiations.

With differences between the two parties still amounting to several million euros, discussions are expected to continue as both sides work toward finding common ground.
