Vini Jr. has been named Champions League Player of the Week following a vote by users on uefa.com. The Brazilian forward played a decisive role in Real Madrid’s dominant win over Monaco.
He provided assists for Mbappé and Mastantuono on the second and third goals before capping off his performance with a spectacular top-corner finish to make it 5–0. In the final vote, Vini Jr. came out on top ahead of Suárez (Sporting CP), Navarro (Athletic Club), and Fermín (Barcelona).
