Real Madrid are still not enjoying their best moment, despite the recent victory over Rayo Vallecano. It is an issue Álvaro Arbeloa will need to manage carefully, especially after a warning issued by veteran journalist Carlos Herrera.

Herrera has closely followed Real Madrid’s situation this season and believes that the same problems have resurfaced under both Xabi Alonso and Arbeloa. For that reason, he cautioned the current coach about the lack of institutional backing he could face if results and performances do not improve.

According to Herrera, the Real Madrid board tends to prioritize the players over the manager, a stance he strongly disagrees with. “Not supporting the coach and siding with these kids, not just Vinícius but others as well, seems like a textbook mistake,” he stated.

While Herrera made it clear that he does not intend to interfere in the club’s internal affairs, he did not hesitate to send a clear message. His comments serve as a warning to Arbeloa about the challenges he may continue to face for the remainder of the season, particularly regarding support from above.
