Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde has his sights firmly set on winning the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, which kicks off this Saturday in the United States.
Motivated by the club’s legacy, Valverde expressed a strong desire to lift the trophy and share the achievement with Madridistas around the world.
The first Club World Cup deserves to be here with us, with this badge, and celebrating it with our fans,” said Valverde. “We’re going to give our 100% to bring this trophy home.”
The tournament has undergone a major transformation—expanding from 7 to 32 teams and moving to a four-year format. While the revamped structure has drawn its share of criticism, Valverde and the team remain focused on delivering results on the pitch.
