Real Madrid’s heavy defeat to Benfica has reignited doubts surrounding new head coach Álvaro Arbeloa. Despite his recent appointment, the club is already monitoring the situation closely and could turn to a high-profile manager if results fail to improve before the end of the season.
Emery’s impressive work at Aston Villa has not gone unnoticed in Madrid, while former Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp is also among the names being considered by the club.
