There is no room for rest at Real Madrid. The team returned to training following their 2-0 away victory over Villarreal, completing the final session of the week as they begin preparations for Wednesday’s 9:00 PM clash against Benfica.
Players who started at the Estadio de la Cerámica focused on recovery work at the Valdebebas training complex. At the same time, Arbeloa continues to welcome players back as the squad gradually regains depth. Trent rejoined parts of the group session and showed encouraging signs, while Rüdiger stepped onto the pitch to complete the final phase of his recovery.
The English defender is expected to be fully available for next Sunday’s league match against Rayo Vallecano, scheduled for February 1 at 2:00 PM. Meanwhile, Mendy and Militão remain the only absentees, both continuing their respective recovery programs.
