Three Real Madrid stars have been named in FIFA's 2026 World Cup Team of the Tournament, as selected by fans, following their outstanding performances throughout the competition.
Kylian Mbappé, Marc Cucurella and Jude Bellingham were all included in the tournament's Best XI after playing key roles for their respective national teams.
Mbappé earned his place after finishing as the World Cup's top scorer with 10 goals. The French forward started all eight matches, registered four assists and recorded 23 shots on target. During the tournament, he also became the all-time leading scorer in FIFA World Cup history and France's all-time top scorer.
Fresh from helping Spain lift the World Cup trophy, Cucurella was recognised as one of the competition's best defenders. The left-back played every minute of Spain's campaign, contributed two assists and helped his side keep seven clean sheets.
Bellingham also enjoyed an exceptional tournament with England, who finished third. The Real Madrid midfielder became the first English player to score seven goals in a single World Cup, while also providing one assist and creating eight key chances across eight appearances.
The remaining places in FIFA's fan-voted Team of the Tournament went to Vozinha (Cape Verde), Pedro Porro (Spain), Lisandro Martínez (Argentina), Dayot Upamecano (France), Rodri (Spain), Michael Olise (France), Lionel Messi (Argentina) and Erling Haaland (Norway).
