Thirteen Real Madrid first-team players have been called up by their national teams for the September international break.
Carvajal and Huijsen will represent Spain, while Kylian Mbappé and Aurélien Tchouaméni join the French squad. Antonio Rüdiger has been summoned by Germany, Arda Güler by Turkey, and David Alaba by Austria. Thibaut Courtois will feature for Belgium, Andriy Lunin for Ukraine, and Brahim Díaz for Morocco. Federico Valverde links up with Uruguay, while youngster Franco Mastantuono has earned a call-up for Argentina.
Most of them will take part in two qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup. In addition, Gonzalo will play for Spain’s U21 side in their qualifiers for the 2027 European Championship.
