Real Madrid has secured the future of one of its brightest academy prospects by renewing the contract of 18-year-old midfielder Thiago Pitarch. The young talent from La Fábrica has already caught attention after training under Xabi Alonso and recently making his debut with the senior squad.

Pitarch enjoyed a milestone moment last Tuesday when he stepped onto the pitch in Tirol for his first official appearance with the first team. Reflecting on the experience, he said: "It’s the dream every kid has when they’re little, and to do it with the best club in the world is something special. Speaking with Xabi Alonso, who was a world-class player we grew up watching on TV, is a real honor and a huge source of pride."

The club acted quickly to extend his contract, ensuring that another promising jewel of La Fábrica remains tied to Los Blancos.
