Real Madrid may have discovered a new talent from its academy. Young midfielder Thiago Pitarch made his second consecutive La Liga start, confirming the positive impressions he left during his debut against Getafe.

While he had already shown flashes of his potential in that first appearance, the academy graduate delivered an even stronger performance against Celta Vigo. Pitarch was active throughout the match, battling for every ball and constantly looking to threaten the opposition goal, even attempting a couple of dangerous shots.

With Dani Ceballos sidelined through injury, coach Álvaro Arbeloa has decided to give the youngster more opportunities. Pitarch had already made his UEFA Champions League debut by playing the final minutes in both legs against Benfica, and he has now begun to earn his first starts in La Liga.

His second-half display at Balaídos was particularly impressive. Arbeloa showed his confidence by keeping Pitarch on the pitch while choosing to substitute players such as Arda Güler and Brahim Díaz earlier in the match.

In fact, Pitarch was the last player to be substituted, leaving the field in stoppage time after completing his first full 90 minutes with the first team. His energy, technical quality, and determination were evident as he fought for every ball and confidently pushed forward toward goal.

The academy product has made a strong early impression with Real Madrid’s senior side, and based on his performances so far, it would not be surprising to see him receive more playing time in the coming matches.
