Vinicius will miss Saturday's match at Mestalla due to the four-match suspension imposed following his sending-off and subsequent protests during Real Madrid's clash with Villarreal at the Bernabéu on October 10.
The Brazilian forward was handed a four-game ban, with today's encounter against Valencia marking the final match José Mourinho will have to manage without his left winger. Vinicius, meanwhile, has a particularly complicated relationship with the Valencia side.
The Brazilian will be watching Saturday's game from almost 6,000 kilometres away, having travelled to Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. He is currently there as part of a commercial agreement between Real Madrid and Dubai, signed in 2023, and is taking part in the filming of several promotional videos for the emirate's tourism sector.
Real Madrid players regularly travel to Dubai for promotional activities, and Vinicius' suspension has provided the perfect opportunity for this visit. From there, he will travel directly to join the Brazil national team for the international break, which begins next Monday.
Brazil are scheduled to play Japan on November 14 and Singapore on November 17, with both destinations considerably closer to Dubai than to Madrid.
