Real Madrid and Cisco announced a multi-year partnership to make the Santiago Bernabéu one of the world's most technologically advanced sporting venues. Emilio Butragueo, Real Madrid's director of institutional relations, and Wendy Mars, president of Cisco EMEAR, were among those in attendance at the announcement ceremony held at Real Madrid City.

Cisco will provide the Santiago Bernabéu with the full range of its industry-leading technology, including connectivity and security solutions, a data center, and digital signage, as the club's official technology partner. The entire system is built on a single Cisco network that is smart and converged.

The stadium will have the best wireless connection in Europe, based on Wi-Fi 6 technology. Fans will be able to interact with their devices and applications faster and more reliably thanks to over 1,200 access points located throughout the Bernabéu.

Real Madrid will benefit not only from the full range of Cisco technology solutions, but also from the company's industry experience, as a result of this partnership. Real Madrid will be able to provide innovative experiences to its fans both in the stadium and around the world thanks to a single, converging network designed to offer the best in security, speed, and reliability, while also optimizing various operational processes within the stadium, such as communications and security.

Additionally, over 1,000 screens equipped with Cisco's integral IPTV solution, which combines high-definition video distribution with cutting-edge digital signage, will allow the club to increase fan participation and provide new entertainment options throughout the stadium.
