Real Madrid remain determined to strengthen the right side of their attack, with Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise continuing to be the club's preferred target.

Although Real Madrid stated on June 20 that they "have not maintained any direct or indirect contact with the aforementioned player, his representatives, or anyone in his entourage," reports continue to link the French international with a move to the Santiago Bernabéu.

Olise has impressed at the World Cup, recording six assists in six matches, and is expected to meet with Bayern Munich after the tournament to discuss his future.

Real Madrid believe the arrival of the 24-year-old could finally provide a long-term solution on the right wing, a position the club have been seeking to strengthen since Gareth Bale's departure.

However, negotiations with Bayern are expected to be difficult despite the good relationship between the two clubs.

As a result, José Mourinho is also preparing alternative options should a deal for Olise fail to materialize. The current squad already includes several players capable of operating on the right flank, including Arda Güler, Bernardo Silva and Endrick.
