Real Madrid are reportedly dealing with one of the most serious internal incidents in recent club history following a major altercation between Federico Valverde and Aurélien Tchouaméni at Valdebebas on May 7.

According to reports, tensions began before training when Valverde refused to shake Tchouaméni’s hand, accusing the French midfielder of leaking details about yesterday's argument inside the dressing room. Tchouaméni reportedly denied the accusation, but the confrontation continued throughout the training session, with both players involved in repeated aggressive challenges on the pitch.

The situation escalated further after training inside the dressing room. Reports claim Valverde continued confronting Tchouaméni before the Frenchman eventually reacted physically. Tchouaméni allegedly punched Valverde, causing him to fall and suffer a head injury after hitting the ground. The Uruguayan midfielder reportedly sustained a cut that later required stitches at a hospital.

Several players and staff members attempted to intervene during the incident, while club executive José Ángel Sánchez reportedly arrived shortly after the confrontation ended. Florentino Pérez was not present at Valdebebas at the time.

Valverde was later taken to a medical center before being transferred to hospital for treatment. Tchouaméni reportedly left the training ground separately afterward.

According to the reports, Real Madrid have opened disciplinary proceedings involving both players and are evaluating possible measures following the incident.
