This subpar showing has only intensified the scrutiny surrounding his fitness, with Le Journal du Real reporting that Real Madrid's medical staff harbors serious doubts about his physical condition.

Compounding the situation, Carlo Ancelotti and his coaching staff are reportedly considering a positional shift for the Frenchman. The idea of converting Tchouaméni into a center-back is being explored as a medium-term solution, given his underwhelming performances in midfield.

Moreover, Le Journal du Real suggests that Real Madrid may be open to selling Tchouaméni at the end of the season. Several Premier League clubs are rumored to be interested in the 23-year-old, whose future at the Bernabéu looks uncertain after joining the club in 2022 for a total of 100 million euros (80 million fixed, 20 million in variables).
