Walter Tavares has become the all-time leading shot blocker in ACB history. His two blocks against Recoletas San Pablo Burgos took his career total to 739, surpassing Fran Vázquez's previous record of 738.
The historic moment came at the start of the third quarter, when Tavares blocked Koprivica's shot for the second time in the game. Play was then stopped to celebrate the achievement.
Tavares's family joined him at centre court to present a commemorative plaque, before captain Sergio Llull handed him the game ball. The Movistar Arena crowd then gave the Real Madrid centre a standing ovation before the game resumed.
