Sergio Llull reached a historic milestone against Dubai Basketball in EuroLeague Round 19, playing his 1,200th game for Real Madrid. The captain continues to strengthen his legendary status at the club he has led in appearances since January 2024, when he surpassed Felipe Reyes.
This season marks Llull’s 20th campaign in white, making him the player with the most seasons in Real Madrid history, ahead of Clifford Luyk and Wayne Brabender’s era teammate Rullán, who reached 18. His trophy cabinet is just as extraordinary. After lifting the most recent ACB League title with a 3–0 sweep against Valencia Basket, Llull became the most decorated player in Spanish basketball history, reaching 25 national titles, surpassing legends such as Luyk and Rullán.
His 1,200 appearances are distributed as follows: 662 in the ACB League, 464 in the EuroLeague, 43 in the Copa del Rey, 29 in the Spanish Super Cup, and 2 in the Intercontinental Cup.
In total, Llull has won 29 titles with Real Madrid: 3 EuroLeagues, 1 Intercontinental Cup, 9 ACB Leagues (the most ever), 7 Copa del Rey titles, and 9 Super Cups. Individually, his honors include EuroLeague MVP, ACB MVP, Intercontinental Cup MVP, two Copa del Rey MVPs, three Super Cup MVPs, two ACB Finals MVPs, and multiple selections to both the EuroLeague All-Star Five and the ACB All-Star Five.
Beyond the numbers, Llull remains forever linked to Real Madrid history for his unforgettable role in the Undécima, sealing the EuroLeague final in Kaunas against Olympiacos with an iconic, impossible shot. In early 2025, his legacy was further cemented when he was named among the 25 greatest players in EuroLeague history as part of the competition’s 25th anniversary celebrations.
