Ronaldo Nazario, one of the greatest strikers in the history of the game, spoke to Sky Sports Italia about Karim Benzema, Real Madrid's chances this season, and more.

"Real Madrid are the favorites for the European Cup," Ronaldo said. "They are not having a great time, but they are in sync with the competition, and they have Ancelotti on the bench, who is one of the best in the world. Benzema? He deserves the Ballon d'Or, I have been saying it for years and they have criticized me for it... but he deserves it, he is a fantastic striker."

The Brazilian also spoke about how Florentino Perez is one of his mentors: "I still have important things to do as president, but I had great teachers during my career as a footballer, starting with Moratti, who was like a father to me and taught me a lot, and Florentino Pérez, who was great at reinventing football through 'Los Galacticos'."
