At Madrid, Rodrygo has only played 369 minutes and made three starts, far from the prominence he desires. With Brazil, the numbers tell a different story: three starts in four games, two goals, and one assist.

That contrast is why—despite rumors about a possible exit next summer—Rodrygo believes he can still turn things around:

“There’s not much I can do. I have to keep working hard and try to earn the coach’s trust there, just like I’ve earned it here. I think I can only improve in training; he sees my dedication, and who knows, maybe I’ll get more opportunities,” he said in the mixed zone.
