Álvaro Arbeloa will be forced to do without Rodrygo at Mestalla. The Brazilian winger has been diagnosed with tendinosis in his right hamstring, an injury that is expected to keep him out for around ten days.
As things stand, Rodrygo will miss the trip to Valencia and is also very likely to be unavailable for Real Madrid’s next match, scheduled for February 14 against Real Sociedad at the Santiago Bernabéu.
The forward did not take part in Friday morning’s training session with the rest of the squad. Initially, the club described his condition as muscular discomfort, which did not fully rule him out for the Mestalla fixture. However, later in the afternoon, Real Madrid released an official medical report confirming the injury.
