The Manchester City midfielder, currently preparing for the World Cup with Spain, was asked about reports linking him to Real Madrid and an alleged agreement with Enrique Riquelme.

He responded briefly, without confirming or denying the rumours.

"Do I have an agreement with Enrique Riquelme to join Real Madrid ? I'm here to talk about the World Cup ," the player told reporters.

Rodri declined to expand further on the matter, choosing instead to focus on his international commitments. His answer was interpreted more as a postponement than a denial, with the midfielder refusing to engage with ongoing transfer speculation.

He later set a clear timeline for discussing his future.

"Everything related to my future will have to wait until after the World Cup ," he added.
