Jorge Brito, the president of River Plate, along with the club’s second vice president, Ignacio Villarroel, were special guests at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium to witness Real Madrid's victory over Leganés. The Argentine club's officials were warmly received by Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez. In a gesture of goodwill, Pérez was presented with a River Plate jersey to commemorate the occasion.
