José Mourinho is set to become the next Real Madrid manager. After weeks of speculation linking the Portuguese coach with a return to the Santiago Bernabéu, reports indicate that the deal is now virtually complete.
According to David Ornstein and Mario Cortegana, the current Benfica coach has already signed a three-year contract with Real Madrid, with the club expected to make the appointment official after the presidential elections.
The reports further strengthen what has increasingly been viewed as the most likely outcome, with Mourinho widely expected to take charge of the team for the upcoming season.
