According to Goal.com, Real Madrid are preparing a world record bid for Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise.
The report claims the Spanish club are willing to offer €223 million for the France international, a fee that would make him the most expensive player in football history, surpassing Neymar's €222 million transfer from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain.
Olise has enjoyed a remarkable season with Bayern Munich and has continued his impressive form at the World Cup, where he has developed a strong partnership with Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé.
Recent reports have also suggested that Mbappé has been encouraging Olise to join him at Real Madrid. However, the club has previously denied having any contact with the Bayern Munich winger.
Bayern president Herbert Hainer has repeatedly insisted that Olise is not for sale and has dismissed speculation surrounding the player's future. Despite those statements, Goal.com claims Florentino Pérez remains determined to pursue the French winger in what would be one of the most ambitious transfers in football history.
