Real Madrid will face Deportiva Minera in the round of 32 of the Copa del Rey following the draw held at the Royal Spanish Football Federation's headquarters. The single-match tie will be played away on January 5 or 6.

This will be the first official meeting between the two clubs. Deportiva Minera has advanced to this stage after defeating Tudelano and Alavés in the previous rounds. In league play, they are currently in 6th place in Group 4 of the Segunda Federación, Spain's fourth division.
