Real Madrid will discover their first eight opponents in the 2026/27 Champions League later today. The draw will take place in Monaco at 6:00 p.m. CET and will be broadcast live on Realmadrid TV.
Under the competition's league-phase format, Real Madrid cannot face another Spanish team and can be drawn against a maximum of two clubs from the same country.
The 36 participating teams will be divided into four pots based on the UEFA coefficient ranking. Each club will face two opponents from every pot, playing one match at home and one away.
A computer-assisted draw will determine the eight opponents as well as which matches will be played at home and away. The dates and kick-off times for the fixtures will be announced over the weekend.
