Real Madrid will face La Laguna Tenerife in the Liga Endesa quarterfinals after finishing at the top of the regular-season standings. The playoff series will be played in a best-of-three format, with a place in the semifinals at stake.
The opening game will take place on Tuesday, June 2, at 9:00 PM at the Movistar Arena. The second match is scheduled for Thursday, June 4, at 9:00 PM at the Santiago Martín Arena in Tenerife. If required, a decisive third game will be played on Saturday, June 6, at 6:00 PM at the Movistar Arena.
Sergio Scariolo's side enter the series as regular-season leaders, while La Laguna Tenerife secured the eighth and final playoff spot.
The two teams met twice during the regular season, with each side winning away from home. Real Madrid claimed a 71-70 victory in Tenerife, while La Laguna Tenerife responded with a 95-90 win in Madrid.
The only previous playoff meeting between the clubs came in the 2017/18 quarterfinals, when Real Madrid advanced with a 2-0 series victory.
