Real Madrid announced record-breaking financial results for the 2025-26 season, becoming the first sports organization in history to generate more than €1.2 billion in annual operating revenue.
During its meeting on July 28, 2026, the club's Board of Directors approved the annual accounts, confirming another year of strong financial growth and reinforcing Real Madrid's position as the world's highest-revenue sports institution.
Operating revenue, excluding player transfers, reached €1.221 billion, representing a 3.1% increase compared to the previous financial year. No other sports club has ever surpassed the €1.2 billion milestone.
The growth was largely driven by businesses directly managed by the club. Revenue generated by the Santiago Bernabéu increased by 11%, while commercial and marketing income rose by 6%, fueled by the renewal of major sponsorship agreements and the addition of new commercial partners.
Real Madrid's long-term financial progress has also been significant. Since the 2018-19 season, the club's revenue has grown by 61%, with 93% of that increase coming from activities under the club's direct control.
One of the biggest success stories remains the Santiago Bernabéu, where revenue has more than doubled (+107%) compared to the 2018-19 campaign, the final season before the stadium redevelopment began.
