Renewing Vinicius Jr.’s contract has become one of Real Madrid’s main priorities. The Brazilian forward is tied to the club until June 2027, but with the final year of his deal approaching, concern is growing at Valdebebas over the possibility of him entering free agency. As a result, the club is already preparing a renewal proposal to present to his representatives.
According to OK Diario, Real Madrid plan to formally put an offer on the table in the coming weeks. The club’s intention is clear: they want Vinicius to stay, but not at any cost. The board has maintained a firm stance in recent contract negotiations with key players, and the Brazilian will be treated no differently.
One of the non-negotiable points, according to the report, is that Vinicius will not receive a signing or loyalty bonus for renewing his contract. If he chooses to continue at the club, it will be strictly under Real Madrid’s conditions. Despite the tension of recent days, the same source claims the player is currently more inclined to remain in Madrid than to seek a move elsewhere.
A potential transfer to Saudi Arabia has been discussed within Vinicius’s inner circle, but it is not viewed as the preferred option. While the financial incentives are significant, the level of competition is lower, and for a player who will turn 26 in July and still has many prime years ahead, leaving Europe now could mean stepping away from elite football too early.
