Real Madrid have no intention of signing Enzo Fernández this summer, according to Sky Sports.

The report states that the Spanish giants are not planning to make any move for the Chelsea midfielder during the current transfer window, reinforcing the position the club publicly communicated several weeks ago when it dismissed reports linking the Argentine with a move to the Santiago Bernabéu.

At the time, Real Madrid made it clear that Enzo was not part of their transfer plans and that no negotiations had taken place. Sky Sports now confirms that nothing has changed, effectively ending months of speculation surrounding the Chelsea star.

The decision is based on both sporting and financial considerations. Chelsea continue to view Enzo as a key figure in their long-term project and are unwilling to negotiate for anything less than a fee close to €120 million.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid are focusing on other midfield targets who better match José Mourinho's tactical requirements, making a move for the Argentine highly unlikely this summer.
