Real Madrid have reportedly made the decision to place Federico Valverde on the transfer market this summer, according to journalist Miguel 'Látigo' Serrano.

The Onda Cero reporter explained that the club has identified five key reasons behind the possibility of selling the Uruguayan midfielder.

According to Serrano, the first reason is the serious altercation involving Aurélien Tchouaméni, an incident that reportedly left a strong negative impression within the club. The second reason is that several members of the squad are said to be unhappy with Valverde’s behavior and would not welcome his continuity after the recent controversies.

The journalist also claimed that the club has grown frustrated with the player’s entourage, allegedly due to previous situations involving criticism of tactical decisions made by former coach Carlo Ancelotti.

From a sporting perspective, Serrano stated that Real Madrid believe they already have enough alternatives in Valverde’s position, mentioning players such as Arda Güler, Nico Paz, and Brahim Díaz.

Finally, the report points to financial reasons, suggesting that Real Madrid believe they could receive a nine-figure transfer fee for Valverde if they decide to move him on this summer.
