Real Madrid have reportedly reached an agreement with Isaac Bonga, with the German forward set to sign a three-year contract worth around €7.5 million net.

The club has paid Partizan Belgrade's €700,000 buyout clause to secure his signing, despite his contract running for the following season. Barcelona were also interested in the player and were prepared to activate the clause, while Panathinaikos also submitted an offer.

Pedro Martínez had already attempted to sign Bonga last summer, highlighting his long-standing interest in the player.

At 26 years old, Bonga is considered to be in the prime of his career. He averaged 10 points and 5.6 rebounds in the most recent EuroLeague season and is capable of playing both small forward and power forward positions.

An international with Germany, Bonga has been an important figure for both his national team and Partizan. Known for his team-oriented style, he is regarded as a complementary player who enhances the performance of primary scorers.
