Michael Olise has reportedly made joining Real Madrid his priority for this summer's transfer window.
According to José Félix Díaz of AS, the Bayern Munich winger wants to leave the Bundesliga champions and move to the Santiago Bernabéu. The report also claims that Real Madrid are deliberately keeping a low profile regarding the player to avoid damaging their strong relationship with Bayern.
While a deal remains difficult, optimism has reportedly grown at Valdebebas. Bayern continue to insist that Olise is not for sale, but Real Madrid believe the situation could change if the player formally pushes for a transfer.
The report adds that Olise is focused solely on a move to Real Madrid and is not interested in listening to offers from other clubs. Despite being happy in Munich, the French international reportedly views the opportunity to join the Spanish giants as one he cannot afford to miss.
Florentino Pérez has not abandoned hopes of completing the signing. However, Real Madrid are determined to avoid any public confrontation with Bayern Munich and prefer to handle the situation discreetly while waiting for the right moment to negotiate.
