Real Madrid are reportedly planning to loan out Fran González next season in order to accelerate the young goalkeeper's development with regular first-team football.
The 20-year-old, currently the club's third-choice goalkeeper, is expected to leave temporarily regardless of whether Castilla secure promotion to the Liga Hypermotion.
The club's objective is for González to gain experience at a top-level club, preferably within Spanish football, where he can continue his progression in a competitive environment.
Unlike some of Real Madrid's recent deals involving young talents, the club is not considering giving up any percentage of the goalkeeper's rights. The plan is to arrange a loan move while maintaining full control over his future.
Real Madrid reportedly have great confidence in González's potential and view him as a goalkeeper who could play an important role for the club in the years ahead. For that reason, they want to retain complete authority over the next stages of his development.
