As per TEAMtalk, the Spanish club, aware of Spurs’ intentions, would be open to using the Brazilian as part of a potential swap deal to bring in Dutch defender Micky van de Ven — one of the standout performers for the London side and a player highly regarded by Madrid’s sporting department.

Such an operation could prove to be a strategic move by Florentino Pérez, who aims to reinforce the defensive line for the future without straining the club’s finances. Van de Ven’s profile—quick, composed, and skilled in building from the back—aligns perfectly with what Real Madrid have been seeking in a center-back. Strengthening the position has become a priority, especially considering that both Alaba and Rüdiger’s contracts expire in 2026.
