Real Madrid took a commanding step toward the Endesa League final by securing another victory over Unicaja in Game 2 of the semifinal series at the Movistar Arena. With the 2-0 lead, the capital side now holds a historic advantage—no team has ever come back from such a deficit in this stage of the competition.
The win also marks Madrid’s 29th consecutive home victory, underlining their dominance at Movistar Arena.
Chus Mateo’s men were rock solid through the first three quarters, building an 18-point cushion. Although Unicaja mounted a late surge, Real Madrid showed resilience to hold firm and maintain their lead until the final buzzer.
Key performances came from Facundo Campazzo (18 points, 19 PIR), Mario Hezonja (18 points), and Sergio Llull (15 points, 19 PIR). Usman Garuba also played a crucial role in the fourth quarter, contributing in defense and rebounding to preserve the win.
With one more win, Real Madrid will punch their ticket to another Endesa League final.
