Real Madrid announced on Monday the launch of a fundraising campaign through the Real Madrid Foundation, in collaboration with the Red Cross, to support those affected by the earthquakes in Venezuela.
As part of the initiative, the club confirmed it will donate €1 million to help victims and their families.
Real Madrid also announced that club president Florentino Pérez will personally contribute an additional €1 million to the campaign.
"At Real Madrid, we want to show our full support, affection and solidarity with the Venezuelan people during these difficult times," the club said in its official statement.
