Real Madrid continue to explore the market for another central defender, with Alessandro Bastoni emerging as one of the club's main targets.
According to the report, communication between Real Madrid and Inter Milan remains strong, with both clubs maintaining a positive relationship throughout the summer. Inter are reportedly aware of Madrid's interest in Bastoni, as well as the defender's desire to take on a new challenge.
The report adds that the Italian club would be open to Bastoni's departure if the right offer arrives. Ongoing dialogue between the two clubs is said to be helping keep negotiations on track.
Bastoni is also reportedly aware of Real Madrid's interest, although he understands that any potential transfer is unlikely to be completed immediately.
The Italy international is viewed as an ideal fit for José Mourinho's plans thanks to his experience, leadership, and ability to step straight into the starting lineup. According to the report, a deal could be completed for around €60 million.
