Marcelo was honored at the Santiago Bernabéu before the derby. The Brazilian legend, who announced his retirement from professional football on Thursday, took to the pitch with his sons, Enzo and Liam, and was presented with a signed jersey from the entire squad. Marcelo is one of the most iconic figures in the history of Real Madrid and world football. Over his sixteen seasons at the club, he made 546 appearances and secured 25 titles, including 5 European Cups, 4 Club World Cups, 3 European Super Cups, 6 La Liga titles, 2 Copa del Reys, and 5 Spanish Super Cups.
