The Santiago Bernabéu paid tribute to Dani Carvajal and David Alaba during Real Madrid’s final league match of the season against Athletic Club.
Both players received an emotional farewell in recognition of their contributions during one of the most successful periods in the club’s history. Carvajal leaves with 27 titles won at Real Madrid, while Alaba departs after winning 11 trophies with the club.
The tribute began before kickoff when supporters unveiled a banner showing Carvajal laying the foundation stone of Real Madrid City alongside Alfredo Di Stéfano. The message on the display read: “A boy’s dream, a legend’s triumph. Thank you, Carvajal.”
Real Madrid closed the night with a victory over Athletic Club thanks to goals from Gonzalo, Bellingham, Mbappé, and Brahim in the final match for both the captain and the Austrian defender.
