A Valencia–Real Madrid clash is always intense, but in recent years the tension has increasingly shifted from the pitch to the stands. During Real Madrid’s 2-0 victory on Sunday, an ugly incident unfolded in the crowd.
Movistar cameras captured the moment a Real Madrid supporter, wearing a club scarf, was forced to leave his seat after being confronted by several Valencia fans. The group argued with him and snatched his scarf amid the altercation.
Footage recorded in the closing minutes shows the scarf being thrown into the air, the fan stepping down to retrieve it, and a local supporter aggressively taking it back from him, before another spectator intervened and reproached the aggressor for his behavior.
As the Real Madrid fan was escorted away with police presence, one individual leaned over the railing, shouted insults, attempted to strike him, and ultimately spat at him, an action clearly visible in the Movistar broadcast.
