Real Madrid suffered a painful defeat in the Clásico on Matchday 35 of La Liga after a difficult start at the Camp Nou. Rashford opened the scoring from a free kick inside nine minutes, before Ferran Torres doubled the lead shortly after to put the hosts firmly in control.

Despite the early setback, Madrid reacted and nearly pulled one back in the 23rd minute. Gonzalo was played through by a perfectly timed long pass from Asencio, but his effort narrowly hit the side netting in a one-on-one situation with Joan García.

Before halftime, Rashford had another big chance, but Courtois produced an important save to keep Madrid alive. The Belgian goalkeeper continued his strong performance after the break, denying Ferran Torres again in another dangerous one-on-one.

Madrid pushed harder in the second half and felt they should have had a penalty when Bellingham was struck in the face by Eric García. Moments later, Vini Jr. nearly scored with a clever chipped effort, but Joan García reacted brilliantly to tip it away.

Bellingham eventually found the net in the 63rd minute, only for the goal to be ruled out for offside. The final stages turned into an open battle with chances at both ends, but Madrid were unable to complete the comeback.
