Real Madrid face an important decision this week regarding Nico Paz and their buy-back option on the midfielder.
The Spanish club have until June 1 to activate the clause that would allow them to re-sign the player from Como. If the option is not exercised before the deadline, Nico Paz will remain at the Italian club and Real Madrid will lose their preferential right to bring him back until 2027 unless a new agreement is negotiated.
The situation has become one of the key issues currently being discussed at Valdebebas, with the club needing to decide whether to reintegrate the midfielder into the squad or allow him to continue his development in Serie A.
Nico Paz has impressed during his time at Como, increasing interest around his future ahead of the approaching deadline.
