The possible return of José Mourinho is not generating enthusiasm inside the Real Madrid dressing room. According to Gonzalo Álvarez on the program El Bar de Sique on Cadena SER, players are wary of the Portuguese coach’s strong personality and fear it could lead to internal conflicts.
In contrast to a section of the fanbase that would welcome his return, the squad reportedly prefers a different profile, with Jürgen Klopp emerging as the more popular option among players.
Álvarez explained that Klopp’s approach is seen as more compatible with the current dressing room dynamic, while Mourinho is viewed as a figure who could quickly create tension in a team with established personalities and egos.
Despite this, the final decision will rest with Florentino Pérez, and it is not expected to be influenced by the preferences within the squad.
