Real Madrid will face Talavera in the Round of 32 of the Copa del Rey after the draw held at the headquarters of the Royal Spanish Football Federation. The single-leg tie will be played next week at the El Prado stadium.
This will be the first time in history that the two teams meet in the Copa del Rey. Talavera, coached by Alejandro Sandroni, reached the Round of 32 after eliminating Rayo Majadahonda (1-4) and Málaga (2-1). They are also Castilla’s rivals in Group 1 of the Primera Federación and currently sit in 20th place in the league with 12 points.
