Real Madrid will face Benfica in the Champions League round of 16 qualifier following the draw held in Nyon. The first leg will be played away on February 17 or 18, with the return leg at the Santiago Bernabéu on February 24 or 25.
If they advance, Arbeloa’s side would meet either Sporting CP or Manchester City in the Champions League round of 16. In that case, the first leg would be played at the Bernabéu, with the return leg away from home.
The full round of 16 pairings, as well as each team’s path to the final, will be decided in a new draw scheduled for February 27.
