Real Madrid have reportedly decided to loan out Franco Mastantuono for the 2026-27 season as the club looks to continue reshaping its squad.

According to journalist Arancha Rodríguez, both Real Madrid and José Mourinho believe a temporary move is the best solution for the Argentine youngster after a difficult first season in Europe. The plan is for Mastantuono to gain regular playing time before returning to challenge for a place in the first team.

Among the clubs showing the strongest interest is Fulham, now managed by former Real Madrid coach Álvaro Arbeloa. The Premier League side are reportedly leading the race to sign the teenager on loan, with Arbeloa keen to help accelerate the player's development.

A move to England would give Mastantuono the opportunity to gain valuable experience in one of Europe's most competitive leagues while continuing his adaptation to European football.

The loan would also ease competition within Real Madrid's attacking options. Mourinho currently has several players capable of operating on the right flank, including Endrick, Arda Güler, Bernardo Silva, Rodrygo and Brahim Díaz, making regular minutes difficult to guarantee for the young Argentine.
