Real Madrid were crowned champions of the Costa del Sol Tournament for the seventh time after an emphatic 113-74 victory over Unicaja in their final preseason game.
Pedro Martínez’s side were involved in a closely contested first quarter before producing a dominant second period. Real Madrid went on a 30-9 run to take a commanding 19-point lead into halftime.
The team continued to control the game after the break, extending their advantage to 28 points by the end of the third quarter before comfortably managing the final period to secure another impressive preseason victory.
Maledon was the standout performer, finishing with 19 points and a performance rating of 25.
